Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rotun Djere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sean Ferguson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rotun Djere!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djere thumps Ferguson with a low kick.
Ferguson shoots in but Djere avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ferguson closes the distance and clinches.
Ferguson stalls.
Ferguson manages to break the clinch.
Djere lands a head kick!
Ferguson shoots in and bounces Djere off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Djere keeping full guard, as Ferguson tries to pass.
Ferguson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferguson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Djere is breathing heavily.
Ferguson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Djere manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ferguson has Djere in his guard.
Djere decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Djere avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ferguson moves into range and clinches up with Djere.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Ferguson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ferguson drags the fight down to the ground.

Ferguson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ferguson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Ferguson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Ferguson looks for a takedown but Djere sprawls well.
Ferguson closes the distance and pushes Djere back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ferguson slowing the pace effectively.
Ferguson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ferguson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ferguson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Djere tries to avoid it but Ferguson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Djere to the ground. Djere escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rotun Djere has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Ferguson.
Ferguson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ferguson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ferguson tries to close the distance and clinch but Djere swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ferguson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ferguson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ferguson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Djere can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ferguson looking for a guillotine from mount but Djere is having none of it.
Ferguson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Djere manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Djere knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ferguson on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ferguson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Djere is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
