Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darkened Memory! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redman closes the distance and clinches up with Memory, looking for a takedown. Redman pushes Memory against the cage but Memory circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Redman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Memory sprawls well. Memory wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Redman gets slowly back to his feet. Darkened Memory seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Memory defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Redman. Darkened Memory has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Redman. Memory closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Memory lands in his opponent's guard. Memory wants to stand but Redman has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Redman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Memory defends it easily. Memory trying to control the position from guard on top but Redman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Memory is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Memory tries to free his leg and advance position but Redman is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Redman looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Memory passes into side control.
Memory knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Redman on the ground. Redman tries to bench press Memory off him but Memory keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Memory wants to control but Redman is keeping him busy. Memory is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Redman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Redman is looking to regain half guard here but Memory keeps moving and retains side control. Redman manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Redman is working for a submission of some sort.
Redman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Redman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Memory on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Memory tries to get out of the position. Memory is trying to maintain the position but Redman is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Memory is defending against the submission attempts here by Redman.

Redman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Memory sees it coming and defends easily. Redman looks gassed! Redman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Memory is just riding it out for now. Redman eventually gives up the hold. Redman prevents Memory from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Redman dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Memory scores a takedown into full mount! Redman slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Memory trying to control from Redman's half guard. Redman has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Redman pushes a forearm under Memory's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Memory is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
