Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Geo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miroslav Krivanec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geo Jr looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Geo Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miroslav Krivanec! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krivanec tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jr swivels and escapes. Jr tries for a takedown but Krivanec circles away easily and Krivanec counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Krivanec works over Jr with some ground and pound from guard. Krivanec is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Krivanec trying to control the position from guard on top but Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Krivanec got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Krivanec has managed to get both his arms back between Jr's legs - danger averted. Jr is breathing heavily. Krivanec throwing strikes but missing. Krivanec postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Krivanec trying to control the position from guard on top but Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Krivanec shoots in but no luck this time. Jr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Krivanec takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Jr tries to clinch up and Krivanec counters with a single leg into guard. Jr didn't expect that. Krivanec lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Krivanec trying to control but Jr is working from the bottom. Krivanec thows a big elbow that misses. Krivanec in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krivanec loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Krivanec distracts Jr with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Krivanec lands a couple of digs. Krivanec thows a big elbow that misses. Krivanec sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jr's guard. Krivanec wants to free his trapped foot but Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs. Krivanec lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Krivanec is keen to just control but Jr is a slippery customer. Krivanec working Jr over with strikes. Nice strikes from Krivanec there. Krivanec takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Krivanec seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krivanec tries to pass to full mount but Jr defends it. Jr is trying to stand.
Krivanec is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Krivanec closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jr to the mat! Jr manages to get full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krivanec won't allow Jr to sweep him here. Krivanec has gone for a leg lock! Jr slips out almost immediately though and dives into Krivanec's guard. Jr wants to stand but Krivanec has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krivanec can do anything to dispel that myth. Krivanec striking off his back but it's not causing Jr any problems. Krivanec trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Krivanec has his foot on Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jr works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jr won't allow Krivanec to sweep him here. Jr passes Krivanec's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jr is trying to control. Krivanec wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miroslav Krivanec dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jr misses with a hook. Krivanec drives through and clinches with Jr against the cage.

Krivanec perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Krivanec works his foot free and advances to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A nice elbow there by Krivanec.

Jr is looking to get to half guard. Krivanec with shots to the head and body - Jr looks very uncomfortable down there. Jr is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krivanec postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jr looks a forlorn figure.

Krivanec can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jr is looking to escape. Krivanec looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jr defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Krivanec. Krivanec looking to ground and pound but Jr is blocking nicely. Jr really wants to buck Krivanec off and get back to his feet. Krivanec is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jr can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Krivanec connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Krivanec cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Krivanec has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jr's face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jr is bucking up trying to escape but Krivanec cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Krivanec cracks Jr with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jr regains full guard. Nicely done. Krivanec working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Krivanec stops Jr from standing up. Jr has momentary wrist control but Krivanec slips an elbow through the middle. Krivanec landing with the ground and pound. Krivanec throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jr works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jr looking for a sweep. Not yet Jr, not yet. Jr is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Miroslav Krivanec is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jr wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jr is trying to break the clinch but Krivanec has him pressed against the cage. Krivanec tightens his grip and picks Jr up, before dumping him to the ground. Jr manages to land in guard. Krivanec is in close to Jr's body, working some short punches and elbows. Krivanec wants to pass the guard but Jr is keeping the position. Jr wants to stand up but Krivanec is controlling him. Jr trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Jr keeping moving, preventing Krivanec from controlling successfully. Krivanec scoring with punches to the head and body. Geo Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Krivanec gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that's the end of the fight! Miroslav Krivanec comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Krivanec winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
