Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Art Connelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allan Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connelly kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Deep down n dirty - Stereo mc's. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ramos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Connelly clinches with his opponent.
Connelly lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ramos backwards.
Connelly tries to score a body lock takedown but Ramos shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Connelly swings wildly with an uppercut but Ramos uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ramos is trying to maintain a safe position but Connelly gets an underhook and turns Ramos into the cage.

Art Connelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramos scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ramos connects with a crisp jab.
Connelly stalks Ramos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ramos's face. Ramos staggers backwards, shaken.
Connelly sizes up Ramos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Connelly shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ramos's guard.

Connelly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Connelly has managed to get both his arms back between Ramos's legs - danger averted.

Ramos isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Connelly stacks Ramos on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Connelly!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ramos is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Connelly thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ramos's head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Connelly winds up and cracks Ramos with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Connelly looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ramos with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Connelly takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ramos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Connelly throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Connelly has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ramos regains guard immediately.
Connelly is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Ramos looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ramos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Connelly missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Ramos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Connelly defends well.

Connelly's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ramos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Connelly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
