Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Rapise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yer Auld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommy Rapise! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yer Auld! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Auld cracks Rapise with a good jab. Auld swinging wilding here.
Auld rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rapise moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rapise shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Auld is squirming around, avoiding Rapise's attempts to control the action. Auld is working to get back to half guard.
Auld is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rapise takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rapise unloads with some shots from mount but Auld bucks and avoids them well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rapise throws some wild stikes that Auld manages to avoid easily.
Auld tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rapise controlling his opponent. Rapise moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Auld has worked his arm free - good work by Auld!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rapise working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rapise thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Rapise working away. Auld is looking to regain half guard here but Rapise keeps moving and retains side control. Auld wants to control but Rapise postures up. Rapise postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Auld manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rapise is looking to escape.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rapise showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Auld.
Auld throws a right hand that Rapise ducks under and follows up with a left that Rapise also avoids with ease. Auld looks gassed! A combination from Auld does no damage. Rapise throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Auld. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rapise. Rapise keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Auld works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Rapise dodges the punch combination from Auld.
Rapise shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Auld's guard. Auld looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Auld keeping full guard, as Rapise tries to pass. Rapise works a leg free and moves into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rapise in particular looking to stall. Auld tries to roll over but Rapise keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tommy Rapise will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Auld slaps away a takedown attempt from Rapise, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nice sprawl there from Auld as Rapise shoots in. Auld lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rapise circles away quickly and effectively. Rapise wants to clinch. Rapise dodges the punch combination from Auld.
Auld throws a series of punches but Rapise moves out of range. Rapise shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Auld napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rapise goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Auld rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rapise's guard! Nice work there by Auld! Rapise has a closed guard, preventing Auld from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rapise is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Auld wanted to stand there but Rapise had control of the position. Auld must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Auld works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Auld looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rapise is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rapise pushes Auld off looking to stand but Auld dives back in and keeps control.
Rapise is trying to maintain the position but Auld is very close to passing his half guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Auld misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Auld lands a nice hook to Rapise's body. Rapise takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Auld throws the left hand but Rapise avoids the punch easily. Rapise dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Auld. That did some damage! Rapise closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rapise breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A combination from Auld does no damage. Tommy Rapise is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The fight stays on the outside here - Rapise looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rapise tries a head kick but it misses.
Auld lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rapise circles away quickly and effectively. Rapise blocks a jab. Rapise is looking to clinch but Auld is avoiding it.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Auld blocks a head kick by Rapise.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tommy Rapise will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A punch combination from Auld misses. Auld stuns Rapise with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Auld leaves Rapise with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Auld lands with a nice combination. Rapise backs away looking to recover. Auld swinging wilding here.

Rapise stands and throws Auld's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rapise laying and praying for a moment but Auld takes advantage and regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rapise throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Auld is trying to stand back up but Rapise is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Auld wants to get back to his feet. Auld keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Rapise is trying to control the action in half guard but Auld is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Rapise. That's going to take a lot out of him. Auld throws a right and a left that both miss. Rapise throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

and Rapise counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Auld! Auld is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Rapise trying to control but he's not successful this time. Yer Auld has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tommy Rapise is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rapise controlling the position easily from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Tommy Rapise showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rapise, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
