0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Greco! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Greco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Greco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Balle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Greco somewhat. Balle misses with a takedown and Greco counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Greco. Balle is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Greco avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Greco feints and as Balle raises his hands in defense, Greco changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Greco looks gassed! Greco trying to stand up but can't free himself from Balle's guard. Greco won't allow Balle to get back to his feet. Greco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Balle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Greco is looking to stand up but Balle won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greco is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Balle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Kalle Balle will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Balle gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Balle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Greco decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Balle's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalle Balle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Balle wants to stand and escape but Greco is having none of it. Greco wants to stand but Balle is controlling his posture from full guard.

Greco wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Balle's closed guard. He's half up but Balle has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Balle pivots and extends the arm, Greco falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Balle! Well done that man!
