With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JP Hoss!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoss misses with a low kick.
JP Hoss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rauhanen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


It looks like JP Hoss has been cut.

Hoss closes the distance and clinches.
Rauhanen blocks an elbow strike.
Hoss tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rauhanen avoids it.
Hoss pushes Rauhanen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Eetu Rauhanen has been cut.
Hoss creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hoss working some nice short punches in the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Hoss throws an elbow but misses.
Rauhanen wants to break free but Hoss has control.

Jeez, Eetu Rauhanen's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Rauhanen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rauhanen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hoss throws and low kick but Rauhanen moves out of range easily.
Rauhanen swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoss.
Hoss tries to close the distance and clinch but Rauhanen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hoss throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rauhanen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hoss looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Hoss throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rauhanen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rauhanen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hoss.
A shot to the body from Hoss misses
and Rauhanen counters with a stiff right hand.
Hoss throws a sloppy body shot
and Rauhanen counters with a right hand to the body.
Rauhanen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoss.
Hoss throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rauhanen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hoss falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rauhanen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rauhanen throws a right and a left that Hoss avoids nicely.

Hoss throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Rauhanen counters with a stiff right hand.
Rauhanen is looking to slow Hoss down with leg kicks.
Hoss is breathing heavily.
Hoss misses with a jab to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Rauhanen.

Hoss checks a low kick from Rauhanen.

Hoss wants to clinch up but Rauhanen keeps it at a distance.
Rauhanen misses with a low kick as Hoss jumps back.

Rauhanen throws a nice looking combination but Hoss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Hoss in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Rauhanen feints and then cracks Hoss's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hoss down.

Whack! Rauhanen lands a heavy head kick that drops Hoss. The ref tackles Rauhanen to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Hoss was done.
