Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Totalli Soullezzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Myres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soullezzi comes to the cage accompanied by Tech N9ne - Psycho Bitch. Cody Myres has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Totalli Soullezzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Myres! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myres shoots in for a takedown but Soullezzi shows good takedown defense. Myres gets a clinch. A bit of stalling here from Soullezzi.
Myres wants the takedown. Soullezzi is fighting it off but Myres persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Soullezzi's guard against the cage. Myres wants to get up but he can't break Soullezzi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Soullezzi wants to sweep here but Myres controlling him for the moment. Myres stands up from guard. Let's bang! Soullezzi shoots and misses and Myres counters with a right hand to the body. Myres misses with a few strikes there.
Soullezzi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Myres is trying to defend but Soullezzi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Myres looks gassed! Soullezzi not landing any meaningful shots this time. Soullezzi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Soullezzi tries to free his leg and advance position but Myres is retaining full guard. Soullezzi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Soullezzi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Soullezzi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Myres wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Myres can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Myres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Soullezzi moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Soullezzi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Soullezzi working the head and body with strikes. Soullezzi in side control lands a decent elbow. Soullezzi working the ground and pound but Myres is defending the strikes. Myres is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Totalli Soullezzi dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Soullezzi is defended easily by Myres. Soullezzi shoots and misses and Myres counters with a nice double leg into side control. Soullezzi won't be happy with that. Myres controlling the position from side mount. Myres decides to take the fight back to the feet. Soullezzi avoids the head kick by Myres.
Myres stuns Soullezzi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Soullezzi throws a combination that misses and Myres counters with a three punch combo that has Soullezzi backing up. Soullezzi nods at Myres to acknowledge the strikes. Myres misses with a double jab.
Myres scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Soullezzi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Myres was covering up waiting for the punch and Soullezzi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soullezzi looking to sit in guard and control but Myres gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Myres must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Myres wants to stand but Soullezzi is controlling his posture from full guard. Soullezzi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Myres stands and steps away. Soullezzi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Soullezzi looks for a takedown but Myres sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Totalli Soullezzi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Soullezzi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Myres sprawls well. Myres wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Soullezzi gets slowly back to his feet. Soullezzi tries to keep at a distance but Myres has taken the fight into the clinch. Myres's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Soullezzi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Myres's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Soullezzi working some strikes from top position. Soullezzi trying to control but Myres is working from the bottom. Soullezzi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Soullezzi trying to move into half guard but instead Myres has managed to sweep! Myres stands up from guard. Let's bang! Soullezzi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Myres's guard. Myres tries to hold on but Soullezzi postures up. Soullezzi with shots to the head and body - Myres looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Myres tries to hold on but Soullezzi pushes him away. Myres is squirming around, avoiding Soullezzi's attempts to control the action. Soullezzi unloading with bombs! Soullezzi trying to control but he's not successful this time. Soullezzi looking to finish with strikes here!

Soullezzi throwing strikes but Myres bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Soullezzi throwing strikes but missing. Soullezzi passes into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Myres blocking the ground and pound attempt from Soullezzi.
And that's the end of the fight! Totalli Soullezzi showed his dominance in that final round. I think Soullezzi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
