Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peixoto tries to clinch up but Halli circles away and keeps his distance.
Peixoto blocks a head kick by Halli.
Halli scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Halli wants to free his trapped foot but Peixoto is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Halli connects with a nice short shot to Peixoto's temple.

Halli frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Halli pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peixoto tries to lock up and control but Halli gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Halli postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Peixoto looks a forlorn figure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Halli is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Halli!
