The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo tries to bum rush Havic with a series of wild strikes but Havic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Havic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aldo.
Aldo takes a swing at Havic's ribcage but misses.
Aldo lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Kazual Havic has been cut.
Aldo looks to land a combination but Havic avoids it well.
Havic pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Havic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aldo tries to avoid it but Havic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aldo to the ground. Aldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Havic lands a left and a right that send Aldo crashing to the mat, dazed. Havic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Basilio Aldo has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Havic closes the distance looking for a takedown. Aldo stuffs it but Havic still has hold of him. Havic picks Aldo up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Havic slams Aldo to the floor and that's really hurt Aldo - he doesn't know where he is! Havic throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kazual Havic!
