Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ched Christ Mayano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and raul hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). raul hernandez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from hernandez. No joy for Mayano on that attempt.
Mayano tries to close the distance and clinch but hernandez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
hernandez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mayano but Mayano pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mayano's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mayano cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mayano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. hernandez tries to avoid it but Mayano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag hernandez to the ground. hernandez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to raul hernandez.
