Svansloes has chosen The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svansloes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Miyaguchi swivels and escapes.
The crowd cheers as Miyaguchi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Svansloes doesn't seem phased though.
Svansloes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A telegraphed right hand from Miyaguchi misses the target.

Svansloes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Miyaguchi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miyaguchi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Svansloes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Miyaguchi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Svansloes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Miyaguchi, who protects the arm well.

Svansloes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miyaguchi tries to avoid it but Svansloes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miyaguchi to the ground. Miyaguchi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Miyaguchi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
