Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Justus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justus comes to the ring accompanied by Release Yo Delf - Method Man. Liddell has chosen The Ultimate Fighter as his entrance music. Chuck Liddell told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, King Justus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Liddell! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell leaves Justus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Liddell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Liddell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Justus. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Justus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Justus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Liddell pinned against the cage. Liddell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Justus.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Justus shoots in looking for a takedown. Liddell tries to sprawl out of it but Justus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Liddell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Justus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. King Justus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Justus shoots in but no luck this time. Justus has a takedown stuffed. Justus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liddell but Liddell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Liddell slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Justus fails with the takedown. Justus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liddell as he avoids it easily. Justus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Liddell defends it nicely. Justus avoids a punch combination nicely.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Liddell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Liddell wants it to stay on the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A combination from Liddell does no damage. Justus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liddell.

Nice sprawl there from Liddell as Justus shoots in. Justus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Liddell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Justus somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Liddell tries to score with a low kick but Justus moves his leg out of the way. Justus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Liddell is fending him off so far but Justus persists. Nope, Liddell circles away and we're back to standing. King Justus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Justus shoots in but no luck this time. Liddell throws a low kick but it's checked well by Justus. Justus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liddell sprawls well. Liddell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Justus gets slowly back to his feet.

He's pushed Justus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Liddell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Justus. Justus checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Chuck Liddell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Liddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Justus fails with the takedown. Justus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liddell as he avoids it easily. An inside leg kick lands from Liddell. A slapping leg kick lands for Liddell.
Justus shoots in and drives through. Liddell sprawls well.

Horrible takedown by Justus or perhaps it was just good defense by Liddell which made him look bad. Justus tries for a takedown but Liddell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Liddell slaps away a takedown attempt from Justus, before circling back to the center of the mat. King Justus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Liddell throws a jab when Justus was well out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Liddell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Liddell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
