The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chesterman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Brox looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are battling for position here. Brox manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Brox looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Brox wants to sweep here but Chesterman controlling him for the moment.
Brox manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Brox swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Chesterman is now in Brox's guard. A big mistake from Brox there, giving up the dominant position!

Chesterman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brox's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brox is looking to get back to full guard here but Chesterman has managed to pass to side control instead.
Chesterman is working for a guillotine from mount but Brox frees his head quite easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brox drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chesterman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brox has Chesterman in his guard.
Brox throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chesterman escapes and throws Brox's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Brox is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Brox gets back to full guard.
Brox manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chesterman manages to get himself to full guard.
Brox is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Brox wants to control but Chesterman is keeping him busy.
Brox throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Chesterman is not content to let Brox control the position.
Brox advances to mount.
Brox is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Chesterman is in real trouble.
Chesterman is breathing heavily.

Randolf Brox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Brox's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Brox is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Chesterman has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Brox has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Chesterman taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Brox doesn't care though - he's delighted!
