Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rolls Royce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Wiet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiet has chosen Mia - Paper Planes as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rolls Royce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Wiet! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiet is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Royce takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Mike Wiet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wiet takes the fight into the clinch. Wiet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wiet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Royce paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wiet gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wiet throws a knee to the head but misses.
Wiet using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Royce has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Wiet throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Royce blocks it with crossed arms. Wiet gets through Royce's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Wiet tries to land a knee to the head but Royce blocks with his arms.

Royce wants the takedown. Wiet is fighting it off but Royce persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Wiet's guard against the cage. Wiet is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Royce pushes down on Wiet's leg and manages to get into half guard. Royce with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Royce is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wiet sees it coming and defends easily. Wiet won't allow Royce to pass to mount. Royce prevents Wiet from standing back up.
Royce is pressing down on Wiet's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wiet is holding on for now. Wiet pushes Royce off looking to stand but Royce dives back in and keeps control.
Royce passes the guard and advances to mount! Wiet is trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wiet bucks up and throws Royce to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Wiet gets a clinch. Wiet misses with a knee to the head. Wiet tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Royce blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Wiet throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Royce blocks it with crossed arms. Wiet looks gassed! Wiet throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Royce blocks it with crossed arms. Royce has Wiet pressed against the cage.
Wiet can't break the clinch.
Royce has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wiet is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Wiet tries a knee to the head but Royce blocks it.
Wiet misses with a knee to the head. Wiet with an attempt at a knee that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiet is pressed up against the cage. Royce has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wiet down to the mat. Wiet avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wiet tries to clinch there but Royce circles away.
Royce moves into the clinch successfully.
Royce gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Wiet keeping moving, preventing Royce from controlling successfully. Royce throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wiet works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Royce is looking to work some ground and pound but Wiet has wrist control. Wiet is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Royce trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Royce sitting in guard here, content to control. Royce drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Royce jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Royce with a flurry of punches that miss.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wiet clinches but Royce breaks the clinch and Royce counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Royce. Royce trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Royce slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rolls Royce dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wiet wants to clinch but Royce slips to the side and Royce counters with a shoot takedown. Wiet fights it but they end up in guard. Wiet kicks Royce off and gets to his feet. Wiet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wiet tries to clinch but Royce moves away and Royce counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wiet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Royce punching from mount but Wiet doing a good job of avoiding damage. Wiet trying desperately to get to his feet.
Rolls Royce overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Royce controlling from the full mount. Wiet really wants to buck Royce off and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wiet is breathing heavily. Royce moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wiet has worked his arm free - good work by Wiet!
That's one minute gone in the round. Royce throwing strikes but Wiet manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! You can see the frustration on Royce's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Royce is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Wiet seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Wiet wants to stand up but Royce manages to regain full guard. Royce trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Royce looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Wiet is defending well. Royce quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Wiet has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Royce celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
