Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deva Stating (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Morgoslepov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Deva Stating! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexandr Morgoslepov! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgoslepov clinches up against the cage. Morgoslepov breaks the clinch.
Morgoslepov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stating swats him away and circles back towards the center. Morgoslepov swinging wilding here.
Morgoslepov moves in looking to clinch but Stating pushes him off. Stating has a takedown stuffed. Morgoslepov is looking to clinch. Morgoslepov slaps away a takedown attempt from Stating, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stating avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Morgoslepov has his takedown stuffed and Stating counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morgoslepov's guard now. Stating prevents Morgoslepov from getting back to his feet. Stating missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stating won't allow Morgoslepov to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stating loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stating accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Morgoslepov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stating. Morgoslepov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stating. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Stating darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Morgoslepov wants to stand back up but Stating manages to pass into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morgoslepov can do anything to dispel that myth. Stating is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Morgoslepov has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stating tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stating has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Morgoslepov tries to escape but Stating is in control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stating thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Stating looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Stating wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morgoslepov, who protects the arm well. Stating creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Morgoslepov sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Morgoslepov wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Stating has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Morgoslepov moves into the clinch. Stating has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Morgoslepov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deva Stating. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morgoslepov breaks from the clinch.

Morgoslepov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Morgoslepov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stating showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morgoslepov.
Stating shoots in and bounces Morgoslepov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Stating throwing strikes from guard but Morgoslepov blocks nicely. Morgoslepov wants to stand up but Stating is controlling him.

Morgoslepov wants to get back to his feet but Stating is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Stating loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stating drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Morgoslepov dives on top into guard. Morgoslepov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Morgoslepov is looking to work some ground and pound but Stating has wrist control. Morgoslepov wants to control from the top but Stating keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stating preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Morgoslepov wants to stand but Stating has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Stating keeping moving, preventing Morgoslepov from controlling successfully. Morgoslepov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stating is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgoslepov trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Stating manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Stating trying to control but Morgoslepov is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Morgoslepov tries to clinch up. Deva Stating is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stating fails with the takedown and Morgoslepov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Morgoslepov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alexandr Morgoslepov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Stating.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Morgoslepov with a lazy takedown attempt and Stating counters with a single leg into guard. Morgoslepov didn't expect that. Stating drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stating jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Stating is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Stating with a flurry of punches that miss. Stating trying to control but Morgoslepov is working from the bottom. Stating thows a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Deva Stating dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Morgoslepov works over Stating's head and body with a nice combination. Stating shoots and misses and Morgoslepov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morgoslepov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Deva Stating overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Morgoslepov wanted to stand there but Stating had control of the position. Stating trying to control the position.
Morgoslepov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stating swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgoslepov trying to control the position from guard on top but Stating is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morgoslepov is looking to stand up but Stating won't let him. Stating has his feet on Morgoslepov's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Morgoslepov tries to clinch but Stating moves out of range. Stating doesn't succeed with the takedown and Morgoslepov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Morgoslepov lands with a right to the head. Morgoslepov decides to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stating is in close to Morgoslepov's body, working some short punches and elbows. Stating throws a big right hand that misses. Morgoslepov wants to stand and escape but Stating is having none of it. Stating trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgoslepov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stating throwing strikes but missing. Stating lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Morgoslepov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Now he's in top in Morgoslepov's guard. Stating drops back looking for a leg! Morgoslepov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Morgoslepov manages to kick Stating off!
