Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gynther Gail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Guerrero's choice of entrance music: I Lie I Cheat I Steal!. On his way into the cage it seems that Gynther Gail has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gynther Gail seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerrero gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gail to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Gail stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guerrero swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gail is working hard here to advance position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gail drops back, looking for a kneebar! Guerrero looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Guerrero looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Guerrero!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Guerrero wants to stand up but Gail has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Gail is looking for a sweep. Guerrero is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gail might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gail is trying to maintain the position but Guerrero is very close to passing his half guard.

Gail slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gail looking for a guillotine here but Guerrero defends easily.
Gail has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Guerrero is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gail.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gail tries to buck Guerrero off but Guerrero is having none of it.

Gail is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Eddie Guerrero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A punch lands to the side of Guerrero 's head but he takes it in his stride.

enabling Gail to counter with a crisp jab.
Gynther Gail seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guerrero throws a hook but Gail avoids it easily.
Gail looks to land a left hand but Guerrero moved out of range nicely.
Gail gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Gail feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fighters circling - Guerrero throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Guerrero counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Gynther Gail has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Gail counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eddie Guerrero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gail throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Guerrero stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Guerrero lands a big uppercut and Gail crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gail looks OK. Guerrero waves Gail back to his feet!

Guerrero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gail.

Guerrero scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Guerrero ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Gail out cold! The fight is over!
