Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amadeus Achamian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirt McGirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amadeus Achamian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dirt McGirk!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Achamian swings for the body but McGirk moves out of range.
McGirk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

McGirk closes the distance and clinches.

McGirk has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Achamian uses from the top position.

Achamian drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McGirk dives on top into guard.

Achamian escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGirk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McGirk is looking to work some ground and pound but Achamian has wrist control.

Achamian is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

McGirk avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGirk drops back looking for a leg! Achamian is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Achamian manages to kick McGirk off! McGirk jumps back into Achamian's guard.

Achamian is not content to let McGirk control the position.
Achamian makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Achamian.

Achamian is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McGirk pulls his head out easily.

McGirk wants to take a breather but Achamian is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A nice combination there by McGirk.
A head kick from McGirk lands but Achamian takes it in his stride.

McGirk shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Achamian napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McGirk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Achamian keeps working.
Achamian parries the strikes from McGirk easily there. McGirk is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Achamian to escape.
Achamian tries to bench press McGirk off him but McGirk keeps the position.

McGirk moves into range and clinches up with Achamian.
A bit of stalling here from McGirk.
Achamian changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McGirk fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Achamian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Achamian misses with an uppercut. McGirk saw that one coming.

McGirk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

McGirk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Achamian has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGirk has managed to get both his arms back between Achamian's legs - danger averted.

Amadeus Achamian overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dirt McGirk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McGirk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
