PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between phil langlais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriy Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. skillet - hero kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyko tries to clinch up but langlais circles away and keeps his distance.
Boyko moves in looking to clinch but langlais pushes him off.
langlais tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boyko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
langlais lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boyko circles away quickly and effectively.
langlais changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boyko tries to avoid it but langlais manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boyko to the ground. Boyko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
langlais tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boyko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten langlais somewhat.
langlais fails with an attempt to clinch.

Boyko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
langlais tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boyko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boyko throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
langlais is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boyko sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks langlais to the ground! Boyko dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like phil langlais has been cut.
Boyko trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Boyko raining down shots from the mount!
Boyko throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for langlais because Boyko loaded up on that one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyko pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

langlais is rocked!
langlais takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Oh langlais is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boyko connects with a bit shot that sees langlais covering up! More strikes from Boyko and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Boyko is our winner by TKO!
