Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Helber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Sequeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helber kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is War is coming. Sequeira has chosen Junior Jack - E Samba as his entrance music. Rusty Helber has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rusty Helber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Sequeira! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helber shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sequeira's guard. Helber wants to control from the top but Sequeira keeps moving. Sequeira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Helber defends well. Helber wants to control from the top but Sequeira keeps moving. Helber postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Helber wants to control from the top but Sequeira keeps moving. Sequeira utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Helber in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Helber thows a big elbow that misses. Helber wants to control from the top but Sequeira keeps moving. Helber throwing strikes but missing. Helber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sequeira on the ground.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Helber throws a head kick but Sequeira moves out of range.
A good leg kick by Helber. Sequeira cracks Helber with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Sequeira tries to clinch but Helber moves out of range. Sequeira throws a one two combo.
Sequeira doesn't manage to clinch there - Helber circles away.
Helber throws a combination that misses and Sequeira counters with a one-two to the body. Sequeira misses with a two punch combination.
Helber throws an overhand right that lands on Sequeira's shoulder, as Sequeira tries to avoid the shot. Left hook, right uppercut from Sequeira. Helber takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sequeira shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Helber counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Helber.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Helber is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sequeira has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Helber is looking to defend but Sequeira has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Helber! Sequeira pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Helber taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). David Sequeira!
