Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Friendish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredo Parish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Friendish kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jump around. Fredo Parish has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Friendish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fredo Parish! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friendish fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Friendish misses with a double jab.
Friendish throws a right hand that Parish ducks under and follows up with a left that Parish also avoids with ease. Danga de danga de dang - Friendish scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Fredo Parish has been cut. Friendish lands with an uppercut that bounces Parish off the cage and back into rage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Friendish swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A looping hook to the body misses from Parish. Friendish does a little dance to reset his feet. Friendish uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Parish.
Parish throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Parish misses with a straight right. Friendish misses with the combination.
Parish feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Parish stands and throws Friendish's legs to the side, diving into side control. Parish landing a few strikes. Parish is trying to get an arm triangle but Friendish is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parish scores with a couple of short elbows. Friendish tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Parish wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Parish cracks Friendish with an elbow. That is naaassty. Friendish is looking to get back to his feet here but Parish is keeping cool and he's managed to take Friendish's back. Friendish is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Friendish covering up well and avoiding damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooh a big shot gets through from Parish. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Parish has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Friendish trying to get back to his feet but Parish is in full control for now. Friendish trying to control but not successfully. Parish loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Friendish hold on?

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Parish is persistently looking for the submission but Friendish is defending it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parish lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parish lands shots from the back. Friendish tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Friendish is looking to improve his position but Parish isn't that keen on the idea. Parish in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Friendish is rocked! Friendish knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parish on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Parish lands with some strikes. Oh Friendish is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Parish connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Parish postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Friendish out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Parish goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
