The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimorov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Nimorov avoids the body shot from Momento.
Nimorov cracks Momento with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nimorov misses with a wild combination.
Nimorov lands with a nice combination. Momento backs away looking to recover.
Momento dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nimorov. That did some damage!

Momento tries to clinch up but Nimorov circles away and keeps his distance.

Xander Nimorov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Momento tries to close the distance and clinch but Nimorov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Momento looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nimorov is fending him off so far but Momento persists. Nope, Nimorov circles away and we're back to standing.
Nimorov is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Nimorov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Momento on the side of the head.

Nimorov throws a right and a left that Momento avoids nicely.
Momento is still on wobbly legs! Can Nimorov finish him?
Nimorov grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Momento takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Nimorov cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
