The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krull defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Natua.
Krull is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Natua's half guard.
Krull is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Krull in particular looking to stall.
Natua is trying to maintain the position but Krull is very close to passing his half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Krull connects with a nice short shot to Natua's temple.
Natua is staying active underneath Krull, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Krull winds up and cracks Natua with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Natua is looking for a triangle but Krull pushes his legs off easily.

Krull wants to work for an arm triangle but Natua is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Krull is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Krull thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Krull moves nicely into side control.
Krull is breathing heavily.
Krull looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Natua manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Natua uses his free foot to push down on Krull's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Krull.
Krull is squirming around, avoiding Natua's attempts to control the action.
Natua wants to finish this one by submission but Krull is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Natua.
Krull manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Krull is looking to control Natua's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Krull avoid being mounted?

Krull has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Krull controls Natua momentarily but Natua frees himself.
Krull is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Natua frees his head nicely. Oh but Krull has switched to an armbar! Natua is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
