The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar scores a takedown into full mount!
Lashley tries to reverse the position but Lesnar maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lashley really wants to buck Lesnar off and get back to his feet.
Lashley is looking to improve his position but Lesnar isn't that keen on the idea.
Lashley manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lashley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lashley parries the strikes from Lesnar easily there. Lesnar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lashley to escape.
Lashley takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Lesnar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lashley on the ground.

enabling Lesnar to counter with a crisp jab.
Lesnar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lashley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Lesnar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lashley to the mat! Lashley manages to get full guard.

Lashley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lesnar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lashley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar avoids it really well and circles away.

Bobby Lashley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Lashley has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lesnar's face.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnar turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lashley off and cradles Lesnar's limp body as Lashley celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Bobby Lashley!
