Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Henry Goethe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Torrado!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goethe tries to clinch up but Torrado circles away and keeps his distance.
Goethe blocks a head kick by Torrado.
Torrado tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Goethe counters by clinching up.
Torrado wants to break free but Goethe has control.
Torrado breaks from the clinch.
Torrado throws a right hand that Goethe ducks under and follows up with a left that Goethe also avoids with ease.
Goethe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Torrado throws out the jab.
Goethe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Torrado swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Torrado throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Torrado circles away from the clinch attempt
and Torrado counters with a head kick that drops Goethe to the mat! Goethe scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Torrado pivots, looking for a leg kick but Goethe is out of range and Torrado settles back down.
Torrado tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Torrado misses with a wild combination.
Goethe tries to clinch but Torrado is having none of it.
Torrado tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Goethe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice sprawl there from Torrado as Goethe shoots in.
The fighters circle, before Torrado throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Goethe's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Torrado lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
