The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
london clinches.
Samsa misses with a knee strike.
london breaks the clinch.
Samsa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says london as he avoids it easily.
london throws a leg kick but Samsa sees it coming and moves out of range.
Samsa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Samsa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. london defends it nicely.
Samsa tries a low kick but london avoids it.
london moves into range and clinches up with Samsa.
london lands on the inside with an uppercut.
london has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Samsa clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
london scores with punches to the body.
london has good solid back control here.
london is looking to control Samsa but Samsa is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Samsa tries to break free.
london is trying to stick to Samsa's back but Samsa is turning into london. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in london's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Samsa.
Samsa trying to control but london is working from the bottom.
london trying to keep a closed guard but Samsa is proving a slippery customer.

You can see the frustration on london's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Samsa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Samsa has an Americana. london didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Samsa is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Samsa hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
