Sifilida is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sifilida song. Agresor Sifilida acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smith lands in his opponent's guard.
Sifilida escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Smith scoring with punches to the head and body.
Smith trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Smith throwing strikes from guard but Sifilida blocks nicely.
Sifilida wants to stand up but Smith is controlling him.
Smith loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sifilida has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smith has managed to get both his arms back between Sifilida's legs - danger averted.

Sifilida controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Sifilida.
Agresor Sifilida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith tries to bum rush Sifilida with a series of wild strikes but Sifilida uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sifilida is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sifilida explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Smith scores a takedown into full mount!
Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Smith throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Sifilida wants to control but Smith is having none of it.
Sifilida is squirming around, avoiding Smith's attempts to control the action.
Sifilida is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Smith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sifilida is looking to escape.
Sifilida tries to hold on but Smith pushes him away.

Smith is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sifilida is surviving well by controlling Smith's body position as best he can.
The referee warns Sifilida that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sifilida is looking to improve his position but Smith isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sifilida really wants to buck Smith off and get back to his feet.
Sifilida is breathing heavily.
Smith with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Smith fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Smith cracks Sifilida with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Smith looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Sifilida is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Smith has taken his back!
Smith is cranking Sifilida's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Sifilida! He's tightened the choke and Sifilida is tapping out!
