Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher avoids the head kick by Corleone.
Corleone lands with a kick to the temple. Fisher shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fisher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fisher decides to stand and escape the position.
A clash of legs there as Corleone blocks the low kick.
Fisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fisher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fisher tries to bum rush Corleone with a series of wild strikes but Corleone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Corleone lands with a nice combination. Fisher backs away looking to recover.

Fisher closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Corleone to the mat! Corleone manages to get full guard.
Fisher drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Corleone dives on top into guard.
Fisher pushes Corleone off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vito Corleone.
Well Corleone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
