Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Aaquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Wayne! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aaquist throws a nice looking combination but Wayne bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wayne shoots for a takedown but Aaquist saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Aaquist lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wayne circles away quickly and effectively. Wayne fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Aaquist jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Aaquist throws a combination that misses and Wayne counters with a thumping low kick. Wayne fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aaquist avoids it really well and circles away. Aaquist changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wayne fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wayne cracks Aaquist with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Wayne is looking to clinch. A head kick from Wayne lands but Aaquist takes it in his stride.

"Ole!" shouts Aaquist as he jumps to the side. Aaquist keeps the fight on the outside. Wayne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aaquist swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wayne shoots and misses and Aaquist connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wayne misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wayne jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Aaquist walks away with a smile on his face. Wayne gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Wayne misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wayne throws a combination. Aaquist tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Wayne tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aaquist swivels and escapes. Bruce Wayne seems to be getting the better of the standup. Aaquist jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Aaquist takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Wayne is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Aaquist keeps the fight on the outside. Wayne misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bruce Wayne has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Erik Aaquist is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wayne is defended easily by Aaquist.
And that's the end of the fight! Erik Aaquist showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aaquist, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
