Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carter Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Raider! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hardy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hardy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Raider misses with a wild combination.
Hardy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Raider decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hardy's guard. Raider avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hardy is looking for a triangle but Raider pushes his legs off easily.
Raider chips away with some ground and pound. Hardy is looking to sinch up a triangle. Raider throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hardy's body to avoid the submission. Hardy has instead reached around Raider's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hardy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
