Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Olyanek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Redemption. Sergei Olyanek has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sergei Olyanek! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Olyanek misses. Olyanek doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Olyanek did well to prevent Jones getting side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Olyanek is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold. Olyanek wants to get back to full guard. Jones is looking for a kimura but Olyanek is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage. Jones moves nicely into side control. Olyanek is trying to improve his position. Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Olyanek keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olyanek manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Jones is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Olyanek sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are battling for position here. Olyanek manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Jones wants to pass the guard but Olyanek is keeping the position. Olyanek is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones drops back looking for a leg! Olyanek is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Olyanek manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Olyanek's guard. Olyanek working for a triangle but Jones defends it easily.
Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Olyanek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Olyanek's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to control from the top but Olyanek keeps moving. Olyanek is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Olyanek keeping full guard, as Jones tries to pass. Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Olyanek has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though. Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Olyanek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Olyanek's legs - danger averted. Olyanek looks gassed! Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Olyanek looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jones seems to have locked his on tight now - Olyanek screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jones, as he picks up the win!
