Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michio Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suzuki has chosen Dragonball Z Theme as his entrance music. Michio Suzuki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryo Nakamura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michio Suzuki! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Suzuki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nakamura can't do much from the bottom here. Nakamura tries to get back to half guard but can't. Suzuki looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Suzuki working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. You can see the frustration on Nakamura's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Suzuki grinds an elbow into Nakamura's temple. Nakamura can't do much from the bottom here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nakamura throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Suzuki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nakamura misses with a straight left. Suzuki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Suzuki misses the shot to the body. Suzuki misses with a body shot.
Nakamura lands a lovely overhand right. Suzuki lands the left hand. Suzuki shoots in for a takedown but Nakamura shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ryo Nakamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michio Suzuki. Nakamura slaps away a takedown attempt from Suzuki, before circling back to the center of the mat. Suzuki shoots in and drives through. Nakamura sprawls well. A shot to de liver by Nakamura. Beautiful body shot.

A looping hook to the body misses from Nakamura. Suzuki does a little dance to reset his feet. Nakamura lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Suzuki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Suzuki throws a body punch but Nakamura moves out of range. Jab by Nakamura. Suzuki misses the shot to the body. Nakamura throws a sloppy body shot
and Suzuki counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ryo Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nakamura fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Suzuki manages to avoid it. Suzuki misses with a looping right. Nakamura stalks Suzuki and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Suzuki's face. Suzuki staggers backwards, shaken. Nakamura lands a nice hook to Suzuki's body. Suzuki takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Suzuki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nakamura throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nakamura thows a left - swing and a miss! Nakamura dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nakamura throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

and Nakamura counters with a nice uppercut. Nakamura is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Nakamura throws a right hand that Suzuki ducks under and follows up with a left that Suzuki also avoids with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suzuki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nakamura showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Suzuki.
Nakamura misses with an uppercut. Suzuki saw that one coming. Suzuki takes a swing at Nakamura's ribcage but misses. No luck with that takedown attempt from Suzuki. Suzuki misses with a double jab
and Nakamura counters with a nice uppercut. Suzuki misses with a wild body shot. Suzuki works Nakamura's body with a nice hook. Suzuki throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ryo Nakamura is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nakamura fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Suzuki manages to avoid it. Nakamura scores with a hook. Suzuki throws a series of punches but Nakamura moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nakamura lands with an uppercut that bounces Suzuki off the cage and back into rage. Suzuki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nakamura throws a lazy right hand but Suzuki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nakamura misses with a double jab
and Suzuki counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nakamura's guard now. Suzuki working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nakamura trying to keep a closed guard but Suzuki is proving a slippery customer.
Suzuki forces his way into half guard. Suzuki wants to free his trapped foot but Nakamura is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Suzuki throwing shots but Nakamura is blocking nicely. Suzuki trying to mount his opponent but Nakamura defends it. Suzuki is keen to just control but Nakamura is a slippery customer. Suzuki looks to land a strike but Nakamura avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Suzuki throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Suzuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nakamura swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nakamura has momentary wrist control but Suzuki slips an elbow through the middle. Suzuki stands up over Nakamura, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nakamura seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Nakamura being controlled here, momentarily.

Suzuki wants to control from the top but Nakamura keeps moving. Nakamura is pulling down on Suzuki's head. It's preventing any offense from Suzuki, at least for the moment. Nakamura is trying to keep Suzuki in close.
Suzuki postures up in Nakamura's guard and throws a big left but Nakamura blocks it.

Suzuki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nakamura avoids it really well and circles away. Suzuki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Suzuki misses with a body shot.
Suzuki has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Nakamura slips a jab and a cross from Suzuki.

Suzuki is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nakamura rather than just go for the knockout. Suzuki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nakamura defends it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michio Suzuki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Suzuki was well out of range. Poor timing from Nakamura. Suzuki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Suzuki is putting a hurting on Nakamura here, landing some big shots from side control. Suzuki throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nakamura keeps working. Nakamura can't do much from the bottom here. Sloppy strikes there by Suzuki. Nakamura takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Suzuki working away. Suzuki sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Nakamura is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Suzuki has his takedown stuffed and Nakamura counters with a right hand to the body. Suzuki throws an overhand right that lands on Nakamura's shoulder, as Nakamura tries to avoid the shot. Suzuki takes a jab right on the kisser.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nakamura lands the left hand. Nakamura misses with an uppercut. Suzuki saw that one coming. Suzuki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nakamura moves away. Nice defenses there by Suzuki. Nakamura misses with an uppercut. Suzuki saw that one coming. Nice jab there from Nakamura. Suzuki fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ryo Nakamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michio Suzuki. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nakamura, as that shot connected.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Suzuki lands a nice hook to Nakamura's body. Nakamura takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Nakamura dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nakamura misses with a body punch
and Suzuki decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nakamura's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Michio Suzuki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Suzuki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
