Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lalli Koylio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zero comes into the arena with Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby blaring out of the sound system. Koylio has chosen Moonsorrow - Köyliönjärven Jäällä (Pakanavedet II) as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sub Zero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lalli Koylio! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zero shoots in looking for a takedown. Koylio tries to sprawl out of it but Zero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Koylio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Koylio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zero, pushing him back against the cage. Zero misses with the head strike.
Koylio blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Zero wants a takedown.
Zero gets through Koylio's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Zero lands with a right to the head. Koylio swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Koylio manages to break the clinch.
Koylio gets a clinch. Koylio tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A head punch on the inside from Zero fails to land. Koylio lands on the inside with an uppercut. Zero lands a body punch in the clinch. Koylio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Koylio shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Koylio was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Zero is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zero tries to hold on but Koylio pushes him away. Zero tries to get back to half guard but can't. Koylio sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Koylio tries to control but Zero wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Koylio sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Zero can't escape the position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Lalli Koylio just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice sprawl there from Koylio as Zero shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Zero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koylio lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zero circles away quickly and effectively. Koylio looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Zero! Zero is looking to improve his position but Koylio isn't that keen on the idea. Zero is working hard here to advance position. Zero is squirming around, avoiding Koylio's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koylio punishing his opponent with strikes.

Zero bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Koylio is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Koylio working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zero. Zero landing with the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lalli Koylio dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Koylio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zero shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Koylio but Koylio pushes him off and we're back to square one. Zero shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Koylio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Koylio tries to bum rush Zero with a series of wild strikes but Zero uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Zero tries for a takedown but Koylio circles away easily and Koylio counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Zero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koylio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zero keeps working. Zero wants to improve his position but Koylio is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Koylio trying to control but Zero is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zero is trying desperately to improve position. Koylio looking to control but Zero is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Zero is in all sorts of trouble here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Koylio trying to control but Zero is having none of it.

Lalli Koylio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Zero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lalli Koylio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koylio throws a series of punches but Zero moves out of range. Zero dodges the punch combination from Koylio.
Zero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Koylio was covering up waiting for the punch and Zero finishes the takedown easily into guard. Koylio wants to sweep but no luck. Zero wants to control from the top but Koylio keeps moving. Koylio controlling Zero's posture. Koylio's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zero thows a big elbow that misses. Zero trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Zero looking to pass the guard. Koylio looking for a sweep. Not yet Koylio, not yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Koylio tries to bum rush Zero with a series of wild strikes but Zero uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Koylio throws a right and a left that both miss. A telegraphed right hand from Koylio misses the target. Koylio rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zero moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Koylio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koylio moves away. Zero fails with the takedown and Koylio moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A short uppercut from Zero. A head punch blocked on the inside by Koylio. Koylio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Koylio throws a right and a left that Zero avoids nicely. Koylio misses with a takedown attempt and Zero counters with a nice double leg into side control. Koylio won't be happy with that. Zero looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Koylio is avoiding damage well.
Zero is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Koylio's shoulder. That is not cool. Koylio is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Zero wants to control but Koylio is keeping him busy. Koylio avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Zero. Zero misses with a head shot. Koylio uses the momentum to regain guard. Zero trying to control the position from guard on top but Koylio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zero loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Zero throwing strikes from guard but Koylio blocks nicely. Koylio trying to control the position here. Koylio keeping moving, preventing Zero from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Koylio throws a series of punches but Zero avoids them all with ease. Zero connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sub Zero has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Koylio is fending him off so far but Zero persists. Nope, Koylio circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Zero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koylio walks into a stiff left hand from Zero. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Zero paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Zero closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Zero is trying to ground and pound but Koylio uses the momentary lack of control by Zero to regain half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Zero wants to control but Koylio is keeping him busy. Lalli Koylio is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Koylio trying to control from the bottom.
Koylio is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Zero is staying active. Zero throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
And that's the end of the fight! Sub Zero showed his dominance in that final round. Well Koylio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
