Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Sterner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Hristov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sterner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is target=blank>Kung Fu Fighting. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sterner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hristov circles away quickly and effectively.
Sterner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hristov paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hristov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sterner shoots for a double leg takedown but Hristov sprawls well. He's pushed Sterner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sterner shoots in looking for a takedown. Hristov tries to sprawl out of it but Sterner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hristov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
