Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lonnie Thug!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duke Miller!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Thug shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thug sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lonnie Thug has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duke Miller.
Thug fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Thug's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Thug gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Miller.
Miller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Thug prevents it.

Thug has picked Miller up - he's going for a ride! Thug dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Thug misses with a head shot. Miller uses the momentum to regain guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Miller is not content to let Thug control the position.
Thug stalling away here and it's allowed Miller to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Thug is looking to advance position but Miller has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Thug sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Thug has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Miller drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Thug dives on top into guard.
Thug tries to free his leg and advance position but Miller is retaining full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Thug's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Miller shoots in but no luck this time.
Lonnie Thug is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Thug instigates a clinch.
Miller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Thug prevents it.
Thug has Miller pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Thug pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Miller tumbling to the mat - Thug dives into Miller's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller keeping moving, preventing Thug from controlling successfully.
Thug is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Thug wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.

Thugis looking to pass into half guard but Miller pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Miller is in guard.
Thug pulls Miller in close to his closed guard and prevents Miller from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Miller has gone for a leg lock! Thug slips out almost immediately though and dives into Miller's guard.
Thug trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Thug stands up over Miller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Thug throws and elbow that misses. Miller uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Thug's guard. Nice move by Miller!
Miller has gone for a leg lock! Thug slips out almost immediately though and dives into Miller's guard.
Thug passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Thug wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working.
Thug in side control, throwing shots but Miller defends.
The referee asks Thug politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Thug prefers to stall for the moment though.
Thug has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Thug goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Miller is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lonnie Thug dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Thug throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Duke Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Thug is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Thug looking for a sweep. Not yet Thug, not yet.

Miller drops back, looking for a kneebar! Thug looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Thug looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Thug!

Thug has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Miller!
Thug lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thug cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Miller is in all sorts of trouble here.

Thug controlling the pace for now.
Thug can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Miller is looking to escape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Lonnie Thug just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown. Thug tries to sprawl out of it but Miller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thug manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Miller gets caught flat footed, as Thug shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lonnie Thug is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Thug passes into half guard.
Thug is pressing down on Miller's thigh, looking to free his foot. Miller is holding on for now.
And that's the end of the fight!
Lonnie Thug showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Thug has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
