The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater throws a series of punches but Dimacus moves out of range.
Dimacus shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Slater napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dimacus decides to stand up, so the ref orders Slater to his feet.
Dimacus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Slater sprawls well. Slater wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dimacus gets slowly back to his feet.
Dimacus looks for a takedown but Slater sprawls well.
Slater throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dimacus looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A right-left combo lands from Slater.
Dimacus showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slater.
No joy there for Slater, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Slater throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slater connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Dimacus to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Slater!
