The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws a hook but Diago blocks it.
Diago misses with a takedown attempt - Carter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Diago misses with a hook. Carter ducked under it nicely.
Carter lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Diago shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carter as he avoids it easily.
Diago ducks under a wild hook from Carter.
Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carter stuffs the takedown attempt from Diago. Diago gets slowly back to his feet.
Shawn Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Diago.
Diago takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Diago looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carter cracks Diago with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Diago falls to his knees and Carter doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
