Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zareb Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aviram Gilad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aviram Gilad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zareb Zulu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aviram Gilad! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Zulu. Gilad swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gilad misses with an uppercut. Gilad stuffs the takedown attempt from Zulu. Zulu gets slowly back to his feet. Gilad stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zareb Zulu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zulu shoots in but no luck this time. Gilad gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gilad looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gilad is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gilad has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zulu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zulu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gilad is looking for a triangle but Zulu pushes his legs off easily.
Gilad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zulu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Zulu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Zulu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Zulu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zulu trying to control but Gilad is working from the bottom. Gilad working for a triangle but Zulu defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Zulu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zulu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gilad working for a triangle but Zulu defends it easily.
Zulu with a flurry of punches that miss. Zulu trying to control but Gilad is working from the bottom. Gilad thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gilad manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Zulu shoots in looking for a takedown. Zulu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gilad's waist but Gilad gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zulu off to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A head kick by Gilad - that's a beauty! Zulu is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Gilad can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
