Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ilan Matan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ilan Matan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duke Miller!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Miller's half guard.

Miller is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Matan pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ilan Matan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duke Miller.
Matan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Miller walks away with a smile on his face. Matan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Miller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Matan sprawls well. Matan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miller gets slowly back to his feet.

Miller pushes down on Matan's leg and manages to get into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Miller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Matan is just riding it out for now. Miller eventually gives up the hold.

I would just about give that final round to Duke Miller.
Well Matan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
