Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roy Kostinov!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kostinov throws a head kick that misses.
Kostinov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Infamous.
Infamous throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kostinov lands with a shot to the body.
Infamous throws a jab when Kostinov was well out of range.
Infamous has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Infamous there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kostinov shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kostinov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Infamous is fending him off so far but Kostinov persists. Nope, Infamous circles away and we're back to standing.

Infamous connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Kostinov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Infamous circles away quickly and effectively.
Kostinov feints and as Infamous raises his hands in defense, Kostinov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Infamous drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kostinov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Infamous has Kostinov in his guard.
Infamous is striking from the bottom but Kostinov uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

and Kostinov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

No joy there for Infamous, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mike Infamous seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Infamous looks for the body kick but Kostinov saw that one coming.

Infamous is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kostinov is aware though and is defending well.

Infamous has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kostinov is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Infamous.
Infamous is breathing heavily.
Kostinov lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Infamous wants to control but Kostinov postures up.
Infamous is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kostinov off and has taken his back!
Infamous has the hooks in. Kostinov is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Kostinov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Infamous is throwing shots to the body but Kostinov manages to wriggle free. Infamous pounces on him again and ends up in Kostinov's guard.
Kostinov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kostinov is looking for a triangle but Infamous pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kostinov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Infamous doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Infamous manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Infamous drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kostinov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kostinov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kostinov!
Infamous manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kostinov's best efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kostinov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Infamous sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kostinov somewhat.
Infamous misses with a low kick.
Infamous lands a jab to the nose.
Kostinov shoots for a takedown but Infamous saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kostinov takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kostinov shoots in looking for a takedown. Infamous tries to sprawl out of it but Kostinov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Infamous manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Infamous connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Kostinov out cold! This one is over in a flash!
