Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thiago leaves Mir with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Thiago shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mir is trying to defend but Thiago finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Thiago thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Mir to regain full guard.
Mir manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Thiago looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mir looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Thiago!
Thiago wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Mir controlling the position well here. Thiago rolled but Mir kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Thiago trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thiago wants to escape the position.
Thiago looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Mir tries to keep control of the position but Thiago is staying busy.
Thiago is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Mir off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Mir keeps control of the position as Thiago tries to break free.
Thiago prevents Mir from getting a body triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mir really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Thiago.
Thiago is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Mir sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Thiago has no choice but to tap and Mir jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
