Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marlo Stanfield! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stanfield gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows St Sharpe to score an easy takedown into full guard. Stanfield being controlled here, momentarily. St Sharpe gets to his feet. Stanfield looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! St Sharpe closes the distance and clinches. Stanfield is looking to break free of the clinch but St Sharpe has double underhooks. St Sharpe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Stanfield is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanfield is trying to stand up here but St Sharpe is controlling him well. St Sharpe seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. St Sharpe lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. St Sharpe uses his free foot to push down on Stanfield's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stanfield. That's two minutes gone in the round. St Sharpe postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stanfield looks a forlorn figure.
St Sharpe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Stanfield is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Sharpe tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Stanfield tries to get back to half guard but can't. The referee stands the fighters back up. George St Sharpe just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Stanfield throws a head kick that misses. Stanfield keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Stanfield paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A combination from St Sharpe does no damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George St Sharpe dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
St Sharpe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stanfield to the mat! Stanfield manages to get full guard. St Sharpe drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and St Sharpe jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. St Sharpe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. St Sharpe tries to free his leg and advance position but Stanfield is retaining full guard. St Sharpe is working hard here to advance position. St Sharpe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Stanfield is working an open guard so St Sharpe takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Stanfield tries to clinch and St Sharpe counters with a series of strikes. Stanfield trying to control the position from guard on top but St Sharpe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. St Sharpe lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stanfield! Stanfield is breathing heavily. Stanfield is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
St Sharpe looking to finish Stanfield with some ground and pound. This is bad for Stanfield! St Sharpe lands a big shot there that rocks Stanfield but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. St Sharpe working away from the top, dropping strikes. St Sharpe swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Stanfield is now in St Sharpe's guard. A big mistake from St Sharpe there, giving up the dominant position! Stanfield trying to control but St Sharpe is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now St Sharpe is on top in guard.
St Sharpe stays in close to Stanfield's body and controls the position. St Sharpe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Sharpe pushes Stanfield up against the cage in a clinch. St Sharpe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stanfield with a lazy takedown attempt and St Sharpe counters with a nice double leg into half guard. St Sharpe has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Stanfield defend it? St Sharpe steps over the head and cranks it - Stanfield is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for St Sharpe!
