Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Duke Familia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Halfdead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eli Halfdead is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duke Familia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eli Halfdead!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Halfdead or perhaps it was just good defense by Familia which made him look bad.
Halfdead has a takedown stuffed.
Familia stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Familia wants it to stay on the feet.
Duke Familia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eli Halfdead.
Halfdead bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Familia throws an overhand right that lands on Halfdead's shoulder, as Halfdead tries to avoid the shot.
A big right from Familia misses.
Halfdead is looking to land body kicks.
Familia cracks Halfdead with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Halfdead tries to clinch but Familia is having none of it.
Familia cracks Halfdead with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Halfdead takes one to the chin there.
A punch lands to the side of Halfdead 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Familia throws an overhand right that lands on Halfdead's shoulder, as Halfdead tries to avoid the shot.
Halfdead uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Familia.
Familia punishes Halfdead's body with a nice straight punch.
Halfdead looks gassed!
Familia lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Halfdead shoots in for a takedown but Familia shows good takedown defense.
Halfdead looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Halfdead is trying desperately to land a takedown but Familia is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Halfdead.
Familia lands a big uppercut and Halfdead crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Halfdead looks OK. Familia waves Halfdead back to his feet!
Halfdead is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Familia cracks Halfdead with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Halfdead tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Familia pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Halfdead is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duke Familia!
