The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morgoslepov avoids it really well and circles away.

and Marley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morgoslepov's guard now.
Marley prevents Morgoslepov from getting back to his feet.
Marley works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morgoslepov is looking to escape.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Marley lands a nice short elbow.
Marley should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

so Marley counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Morgoslepov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Marley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Marley wants to work for an arm triangle but Morgoslepov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Marley is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Morgoslepov is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Morgoslepov flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Marley anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Morgoslepov and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Marley slips an arm under Morgoslepov chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Marley has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Marley is squeezing on Morgoslepov like an anaconda would it's prey. Morgoslepov fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
