Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, koln poir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
poir gets caught flat footed, as mcgann shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
mcgann is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
poir is trying to control the position from the bottom.
mcgann gets to his feet - poir follows without any prompting.
poir throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
mcgann throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. poir was covering up waiting for the punch and mcgann finishes the takedown easily into guard.
poir is breathing heavily.
poir can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as mcgann controls the pace.
mcgann must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Despite being in the dominant position, lewis mcgann just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Some bone on bone action there as poir checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - mcgann has eaten all the pies!

poir has his foot on mcgann's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. mcgann works his way back into a safe position though.
koln poir has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

mcgann seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well mcgann has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
