Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darren Pursey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Masajada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren Pursey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Masajada! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masajada throws a half hearted mid kick. Pursey shoots in for a takedown but Masajada shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Masajada tries a head kick but it misses.
Pursey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Masajada's waist but Masajada gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pursey off to one side. Pursey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Masajada but Masajada pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Pursey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Masajada fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Pursey is out of range. Pursey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Masajada tries to avoid it but Pursey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Masajada to the ground. Masajada escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pursey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Masajada as he avoids it easily. Masajada throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Pursey is breathing heavily. Pursey shoots in looking for a takedown. Masajada tries to sprawl out of it but Pursey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Masajada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Masajada misses with a kick to the body.
Pursey uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Masajada. Pursey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Masajada misses with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masajada stuffs the takedown attempt from Pursey. Pursey gets slowly back to his feet. Masajada tries to close the distance and clinch but Pursey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Masajada is looking to clinch. Pursey misses with a takedown attempt - Masajada sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Masajada thows a body kick. Pursey tries to catch it but that hurt him. Masajada works Pursey's body with a nice hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Masajada swinging wilding here.
Masajada lands a nice hook to Pursey's body. Pursey takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Masajada scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Darren Pursey has been cut. Masajada throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Pursey crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
