The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAndrews throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spencer tries to clinch up but McAndrews circles away and keeps his distance.
McAndrews throws a lazy right hand but Spencer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McAndrews keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McAndrews is looking to land body kicks.
McAndrews swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McAndrews misses with the combination.

Spencer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Horrible takedown by Spencer or perhaps it was just good defense by McAndrews which made him look bad.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Spencer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and McAndrews counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
McAndrews fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spencer manages to avoid it.

Spencer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

and McAndrews makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Andrew Spencer will probably get the nod.
