Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between martin grund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and G P (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, martin grund!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, G P!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
P closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like martin grund has been cut.
P shoots in but no luck this time.
grund tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
P has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The cut above G P's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
P is trying desperately to land a takedown but grund is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for P.
P tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
grund breaks from the clinch.
P shoots in but no luck this time.
grund tries to clinch up but P circles away and keeps his distance.
grund displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from P.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

P moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

grund is looking to stand up but P isn't so interested in that idea.

P slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
grund is looking to regain half guard here but P keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

grund trying his best to control but P has mounted him.
P is going oldschool here, as he tries to force grund to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so grund shrugs it off.

grund keeping hold of P's head, controlling as best he can.

P stands up out of the half guard.
P shoots for a takedown but grund saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

grund wants to sweep but no luck.
grund keeping moving, preventing P from controlling successfully.

P is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

and P counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

G P seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

grund tries to close the distance and clinch but P swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
grund doesn't manage to clinch there - P circles away.
grund defends well against a solid takedown attempt from P.
P shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with grund but grund pushes him off and we're back to square one.

P misses with a takedown attempt - grund sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

P fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but grund avoids it really well and circles away.
P shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as grund sprawls well. grund wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. P gets slowly back to his feet.

P looking to sit in guard and control but grund gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to martin grund.
I think grund has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
