Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Antonsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludwig Manres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manres has chosen Aqualung - Jethro Tull as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ludwig Manres! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Manres. Manres misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Manres looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Antonsen! Manres tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Manres looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Antonsen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Antonsen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Antonsen tries to get out of the position. Antonsen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Manres has control of Antonsen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Antonsen regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Manres won't let Antonsen get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Manres is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Antonsen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Manres goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Antonsen turns into him and now he's in Manres's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Antonsen trying to hold on to Manres's head to control him but Manres postures up.

Manres tries to move into range but Antonsen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Nice defenses there by Manres. Manres closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Antonsen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Manres on the ground. You can see the frustration on Antonsen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Antonsen is trying to get back to half guard. Antonsen parries the strikes from Manres easily there. Manres is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Antonsen to escape.

Manres fails to land the takedown. Manres throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Antonsen's waist but Antonsen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manres off to one side. Manres shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Antonsen as he jumps to the side. Antonsen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice takedown defense from Antonsen. No joy for Manres on that attempt. Manres shoots in looking for a takedown. Antonsen tries to sprawl out of it but Manres keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Antonsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Manres shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Antonsen sprawls well. Antonsen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Manres gets slowly back to his feet. Antonsen scores with a one two! Manres had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Alex Antonsen showed his dominance in that final round. I think Antonsen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
