Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon McCall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus MacCallum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCall comes to the cage accompanied by Final Countdown. MacCallum is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Scotland the Brave. Angus MacCallum will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but MacCallum moves away.
McCall connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Angus MacCallum has been cut.
McCall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but MacCallum was well out of range. Poor timing from McCall.
A looping hook to the body misses from McCall. MacCallum does a little dance to reset his feet.
MacCallum misses with a head kick.
MacCallum throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCall avoids the body shot from MacCallum.
McCall blocks a head kick by MacCallum.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCall fails to land with a series of punches.
McCall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
MacCallum lands with a kick to the temple. McCall shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

McCall throws a series of punches but MacCallum moves out of range.
MacCallum cracks McCall with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McCall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but MacCallum moves away.

McCall drops MacCallum with a beautiful combination! MacCallum stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McCall is looking for the KO!

MacCallum is rocked!
MacCallum misses with an uppercut. McCall saw that one coming.
MacCallum is still on wobbly legs! Can McCall finish him?
McCall slips a jab from MacCallum.
MacCallum seems to have recovered his senses.
Good leg kick by MacCallum there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The cut above Angus MacCallum's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
MacCallum misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

MacCallum walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

McCall misses with a hook. MacCallum ducked under it nicely.

and McCall counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
MacCallum looks gassed!
MacCallum lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches MacCallum on the side of the head.

Angus MacCallum's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

McCall sends MacCallum crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McCall is motioning to the referee to let MacCallum up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Angus MacCallum's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Brandon McCall!
Brandon McCall retains his heavyweight title!
